Applicant must be a public school graduates who is enrolled for 14 credit hours. Preferences will be given to students from Rapid City, and if not available, a student from western South Dakota.

Applicant must be a non-traditional student (25 years of age or older) who is able to acquire one recommendation from an employer, clergy, or professional reference indicating that the student is serious about obtaining a college degree.

Applicant must have a minimum 3.75 GPA and a minimum combined SAT score of 1210 (composite ACT score of 27).

Applicant must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1090 (composite ACT score of 24).

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 870 (minimum composite ACT score of 18).

Applicant may have a minimum GPA of less than 3.0.

Applicant must provide a copy of their PTK membership card at the time of application for admission. Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA required in order to be considered.
