Applicant must attend the Millikin Annual Literary Festival.

Applicant must have a sibling concurrently enrolled at Millikin.

Applicant must have an associate degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Applicant must be a currently enrolled student.

Applicant must have excelled in a challenging high school curriculum including a number of advanced placement and honors courses and must have consistently demonstrated superior academic performance in all measures at the high school level.

Applicant must have performed at a superior level in a solid college-bound curriculum and must have demonstrated above average abilities in other academic indicators.

Applicant must have earned at least 45 semester hours of transferable college credit and a cumulative transfer grade-point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale at the time of application.

Applicant must have earned at least 30 semester hours of transferable college credit, and have a cumulative transfer grade-point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale at the time of application.

Applicant must have performed at a high level in their previous college work and present credentials that merit attention. Minimum 2.8 GPA at the time of application required.

Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time student and be considered an underrepresented group at Elmhurst.

Applicant must be a member of a United Church of Christ congregation.

Applicant must plan to major in music, music education, music business, or jazz studies. Selection is based upon academic credentials. Audition is required.

Applicant will be reviewed by a selection committee based on the essay and letters of recommendation. An interview may be required. Applicant must maintain a 3.0 GPA while attending Kendall College and faculty support, and be a positive influence on the college community.
