“The statistics department has always shown me individual care, authenticity and transparency in practice, which I greatly appreciate,” said Alec Conwell, a fourth-year student from Missoula, Montana. “Many of the professors within the statistics department have gone above and beyond to not only to help me as a student but to help me feel ‘at home’ when I am 1,000 miles away from my own home.”
