Hello, My name is Adam and I am a current global management major with a focus and digital audience strategy at the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Thunderbird is right in the heart of downtown Phoenix, Arizona, and being a puree in eight of myself. So when it came time Thio finding the school that I wanted to go to originally I was looking into art schools because I had come out of my bachelors with a film degree. Looking at the industry, looking at the landscape, looking at careers, it seemed clear to me that to sticking with my film Major was not going to give me the best open doors in the future. Instead, I would need to focus in business, but I don't want to focus on just any kind of business. I was really drawn to global business because I wanted to work in a multinational corporation. You know, is the biggest studios like Walt Disney Company, Nbcuniversal. All of those companies operate internationally, so it made sense. There aren't a whole lot of schools nearby that specialize in global business. It considered several schools from California particularly because near L. A the heart of film in the United States. Ultimately there was no program that stood out more than the program at Thunderbird because there's no degree quite like the Masters and global management. What makes the degree different when I was researching it originally, and from my own experience now being a student at Thunderbird is that there is a focus on sustainable prosperity. This isn't a business school that is just about making wealth for the sake of wealth. Rather, there is a massive component of corporate social responsibility of sustainability, of being a good individual for your community. No other business school that I have looked into offered those kinds of focus is if you're gonna be spending a good chunk of your life at school in pursuit of a master's degree, you're gonna want it to matter to you. That's what Thunderbird offered a degree that was going to matter to me and that I would feel good about earning. When I was looking into Thunderbird, one of the big things that stood out to me was that you can customize your degree in many ways because Thunderbird is now a part of Arizona State University. You're essentially attending to schools simultaneously one the number one rated for global management in the United States and the other number one rated for innovation in the United States. You're getting both of them, and that's amazing synergy. I could take classes with a focus specifically in global business through Thunderbird and pair them with classes specific to, in my case, the concentration and digital audience strategy, which are classes that I take through the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism. That's something that you would never find anywhere else. Another thing that really stood out to me is that Thunderbird is an incredibly diverse school. 50% of the student body, at least, is international, and that's true of my current cohort. You get to experience this'll huge swath of cultures all brought together. You learn so much from your fellow Thunderbirds when applying to Thunderbird. Probably the hardest thing was the G r e, but the application itself. Not so because Thunderbirds application is very much based on your experience. Really, if you're a person who loves international cultures, have lots of friends from all over the world, study other languages. Any of these things thing, you're a natural fit for Thunderbird, and it'll show in your application. As part of the application process, you'll be interviewed by a Thunderbird alumni to determine how well you'll fit with school. Take this opportunity as a chance to learn because you're speaking with somebody who did phenomenally well in the program is taking of their time away from their career That could span the globe to speak one on one with you to find out Well, what makes you the thunder part?
