I'm a current student at the University of Vermont, where I study human development and family studies in our College of Education and Social Services. Today I'm going to introduce you to my favorite spot in Burlington. Now I'm in the new North End, which is a neighborhood on the extreme north side of town, and I'm currently at Star Farm Beach and Park. This is a location that I like to come to quite a lot. There is a dog park here where I personally don't own a dog, but I do love to come and watch folks is dogs and observe and enjoy the scenery. Hence the name Star Farm, where agriculture is grown. I don't know if they're animals or not, but I'm willing to do a little bit exploring to find out. There's also a public beach just down the bike path, which is a really amazing police and also transportation hub in the town of Burlington City of Burlington. It's a bike path that continues all the way from the south end of town through downtown Burlington, through the North End and into Colchester as well. So I'm gonna give you a little bit of an insight into where we are. I personally drove here, but there are easy ways to get to start from Beach in Park. Like I mentioned, the bike path is one of the best ways to do that on, so I'm gonna give you a little bit more of an intro into witnesses. Now, what I really love about the star from Community Garden is that it is truly demonstrative of people coming together over something that's for the common good. That's something that you'll find anywhere in Burlington. Whether it's here, it's Star Farm in the North End, downtown Burlington and our co op city market or anywhere else in town. You see people planting flowers, foods, vegetables, everything in anything that you could think of is probably in a Burlington community Garden Star Farm Community Garden. There's also one actually really close to campus on East Avenue, right across from Trinity Campus that is again open to the public and all of the time, especially during the warmer months. You'll see folks they're planting and tending after their plots and their plants. What I also really love about this beach is that it is definitely on the path. Last travels, even though it is right on the Burlington mike. Not a lot of UVM students that I've met have been familiar with this speech. I really do love coming down here to Star Farm Beach. It's beautiful, I have to say, and the lake is very clear here. So thanks for tuning into my little bit of a tour of my favorite spot and really intense Star Farm, Beach Park and Community Garden. It has been such a joy getting to share a little bit of what makes Burlington so special to me with you, and I'm so excited for you to experience UVM and Burlington even more with that said, take everyone much love.
