So now that we're talking about some advice I have for incoming freshmen and high school seniors who are about to graduate. So the first thing I would recommend is to really, really figure out what you are looking for in college. I had no idea when I was planning colleges and I just flat to a bunch. I apply to ones and south in the North, like I had no idea what I was doing. Luckily I it ended up here at American, where are super super great and I love it, but I would definitely recommend figuring out first. Then you don't end up having transferred nothing wrong transferring. Then you don't end up having a transparent and lose credits because that would not be good. Your parents wouldn't may not be too happy if you have tio an extra couple years in college and then have to pay for it. Another piece of advice I would give to high school students is really like Enjoy your time. It was a really great time with my friends, and I really got to connect with a lot of people make great who I hadn't met before. Take advantage of all the resource is your school has offered to because you're not going to get them when you're in college. Yes, I have an academic advisor, but a little bit different. I know that sounds kind of stupid, but I kind of missed my gym class. That gave me a reason I work out s o definitely like, think about things that you might not have in college. Once you're in, you're in heist that you do have now that you're in high school and definitely, like, appreciate them a little bit more. You're going to miss them when they're gone. Before going to college, some things that you should know are that you know, you're going to be meeting a lot of new people. So you and they're going to be meeting you, too. So coming into freshman year, I was a little bit nervous, but you just have to realize that everybody else is in the same boat as you. If you're a little nervous, it's okay. Because other people are nervous too, and they all just want make friends. One thing that I did my very first night, I moved in. I'm pretty sure I just kind of like sat in my hall lounge and I just like the people that way. That's how I met a lot of people on my floor and I got to meet a lot of people that I am now super super close with, Um, it's like a really good way to just, like, naturally meet people cause sudden they'LL come in if you were watching something on the TV and there, if you have a TV in your dorm, are in your lounge than anything you like. It's super easy and then it's like, you know, kind of like gives you footing and like then even more people, it's really awesome. Don't be shot, but really try and push yourself to get out of your comfort zone when you come in college, because I promise it'LL be worth it.
