Michelle Guan, MSBA’23: Changing her career, finding a community

Michelle Guan, MSBA’23: My undergraduate degree was in theater design and technology, so it is a little bit different than the business analytics program that I'm in right now. The career switch is a little bit nerve-wracking, but it's really exciting at the same time. Hi, my name is Michelle Guan and I'm a student in the MSBA program. Brandeis really loves to have people collaborate. Brandeis offers field projects, internships, Industry Treks — there are just so many opportunities, in terms of learning outside of the classroom. The community at the Brandeis International Business School is super welcoming. I don't think that I would have the skill set that I do now, within analytics, without everyone around me. Feeling like I'm part of the community, it definitely reaffirms the choices that I've made.
