Evan Goddard, MSF’24: A future career in FinTech

Evan Goddard, MSF’24: When I was looking at different graduate programs, it stuck out to me that Brandeis is very analytical-driven, and very future-looking. I chose Brandeis International Business School because of the concentration in FinTech. There's so much innovation in the FinTech space right now, and I saw that as a great opportunity to combine my love for tech and finance in one spot. Hi, my name is Evan Goddard, and I'm a student in the Master of Science in Finance program. The support I've received as a student has been phenomenal. Knowing that all the resources for my career are here, it really gives me a lot more excitement and a lot more confidence when I actually go to talk to people for networking events or apply to jobs. The Python requirement that I have taken has been extremely helpful. It really changes the way I think analytically. And knowing that a lot of my interests align with a career path has allowed me to realize that not only are these passions of mine — these are real routes that I can take during my career.
