Hi, my name is Isaac Sullivan, I am a sophomore here at Georgetown College. I'm majoring in biomedical science and religion. I'm here to talk to you today about the health scholars program. So that's something that I've been really passionate about um with me being a pre health major, I've gone into the health scholars program, it is one of our programs of distinction. So you do get a scholarship for it as well as you do get a bunch of tools to help you be successful outside of college as well. So they do have speakers come and they usually try and speak twice a month. Those are great opportunities for you to go and see what it is like, maybe in your career field or a field that you're interested in and also get some more exploration outside of that as well. How Scholars is also a great opportunity to be able to meet other like minded individuals who are on a similar career path as you. You can maybe even see if you have clashed with them and formed study groups as well as be able to connect with professors that are going to be able to help you get to where you need to be dr. Livingston is the head of the health scholars program and she is absolutely phenomenal. She's a biology teacher here at Georgetown College and she does not only a great job teaching but also a great job preparing the health scholars program as well as making sure that students get involved and get active within the health college program. I hope you enjoyed this video and I hope to see you guys on campus soon.
