If you're like me, then when you apply to the prototype program and the application requirement is to provide a portfolio that can be kind of daunting. I remember being nervous about wondering if my portfolio was enough, If it look professional enough. As someone who went through it, I can guarantee that you don't have to be. One of a kind artistic genius feels though you can submit your portfolio previous portfolios that you have, that is an overall, comprehensive example of your work can be used as the portfolio. The professors are looking for people who are willing and able to learn which those type of students are not in short supply of Georgetown, especially in the art program. So as long as you are an artist who is open to learning and to collaboration with the professors as well as your other peers, I would recommend you push past the fear and anxiety and the self doubt surrounding submitting a portfolio and that you have faith in yourself and your abilities. If I could have been given any advice when I chose to present my portfolio or even just put together my application, I would say just to calm down, it is very important. They're not going to tear your portfolio to shreds that does not foster a learning environment and that's what they're doing. They're trying to foster an environment where professors and peers and students all benefit.
