Jokes aside, I'm here at U. C. Davis, and I'm a second year studying manager of economics and statistics. Also there are a number of slums and organizations on campus that helps you get involved on This is all so very close be, which means a lot of trouble to access my day start off pretty early, so I'm taking eight and nine names, which means I have enough time in the evening to study and attend meetings for some of the clubs that I'm involved in on campus. So business and consulting clubs on campus, a number of places where you can study on campus. Some of them include the Shields Library which also has a twenty four hour study room, which is opened your finals week. The place I'm currently living is best village, and we have a lot of study. Lounge is there for usually studying those lounges, but if needed, you can always take a safe ride from your heart man and come to campus and said Yes. So in my first year when I was in the dorms are usually Baekje class. Now that I stay off campus, uh, the unit rants actually a very efficient way off commuting to campus. So I usually take the bus in the morning and also, when I go back So the clip that you guys just Saul was from this class and currently taking Nora's feel is twenty one on DH. We have around four hundred students act lectures on DH, the discussion that we have usually have around twenty to thirty students, and it is a very long discussion. So from what I've noticed so far, classes are definitely not strictly based on lectures every single time. They're certain professors that base the whole course load on just midterms and finals. So you need to be super careful that you attend all the lectures because they will definitely say something very important, your lectures. Two homework and other quizzes are activities in class, so you don't have to be present during lectures all the time. You just have to make sure that you finish all the course load. So far, I've also noticed that professors are willing to extend their office hours. If you don't think you can make it to their office hours. So right behind me, you see you more, which stands for university ball. So you have forever twenty one here also Starbucks in a couple of other restaurants that you can come in, have fun. So I'm currently walking around downtown Davis, and I was here to grab something to eat with my friends. The most frequently visited places by myself and my friends were burgers and group because I think it was closest to the campus. It's also one of those places that's open late at nights until three a. M. So that's why we would usually go after a late night study session. So I know that a lot of few freshmen or incoming transfers students must be super excited to get into your see here. So the best way to go around that is to go to the campus store on the first Friday of the month campus tour has twenty five percent on on Most items like that is the best time that you should be resting here on just yesterday, you see, and I love it. So I'm gonna be walking around what is loaded with death star on campus. So what is your favorite thing on with everything on it? So something that I could think of right now that hit me right as I started my first quarter here, freshman year is how much I love, Like almost every professor and team that I'm very passionate about, whatever they're teaching, there are very involved in their students. The weather is a comfortable people are nice here, but not favor parties like companies will be. So I've been here teams and I got a ticket for going twenty five to fifteen already. Is the people here? Yeah, Everyone's soul kind. They come about a mile ahead. Shove that every time you saw even strangers. Um, about the purposes, the Arab or severely cute like my m i t professors. Well, I think the most thing another thing I like most is maybe dying, I think. They're, uh, sometimes the first R very divers. Pretty much, um uh, it's the most difficult thing for me is the canvas is too big. You know, you need to have a nice comi if you will. So my favorite thing about the campus itself, I mean, generally I feel like being California's awesome. I'm from Michigan, so the weather is great here. All of the bikes around campus are a little bit scary. So my favorite part of the campus, so my fear part of the campus. I think college is all about experimenting with what you like, what you don't like. It is not at all a problem if you do not know what you want to do four years down the line in your second year, that is to really find. I do remember I came into UC Davis as an international relations major, and I was thinking between economics or manager economics here, and I finally went on to do managerial economics that I'm extremely happy with that.
