While I'm here studying in Cambridge University, I've been fortunate enough to have been elected as the residents of the Cambridge Indonesia Association and in this role, myself and the other commenting members are basically in charge of managing the welfare of around 50 to 60 different uh Indonesians are currently Cambridge based and this ranges all the way from A levels to undergrads, postcards and even professionals who are currently working in Cambridge city. The first mission is how can I like I said, to ensure that the Indonesian diaspora here who are based in Cambridge are well connected and that feel homesick and then that they're well taken care of if they have any particular problems or issues. The second is how can we encourage and help more Indonesians to actually apply to Cambridge and also other top institutions worldwide. So sometimes we hold admissions workshops and it can provide tips and tricks on how to actually submit their best application to Cambridge University. The third and final um mission that we have is how can we upscale Indonesians worldwide. Like I said, sometimes we have talks and workshops and all these other activities that sometimes even collaborate with other top schools worldwide like Harvard or M. I. T. Or even Oxford uh just to get more and more Indonesians excited to come to to all of these top universities to roll blood. I suppose it's been very rewarding and also at the same time humbling to be a part of this experience to actually have people come to our instagram and actually tell us that we have been an inspiration for them to actually submit an application into the university and to actually be thanked for actually giving them the necessary tips and tricks and sometimes even seeing them being admitted to the university and becoming a part uh of the Cambridge family.
