My name is Robert Alexander and I studied Media and Communication. It was really the sort of open nature of the course. You were free to best find whatever area of media you really wanted. You were given an introduction to all these different areas, whether that be television, radio, print journalism, online journalism, all of that stuff. And then in your 3rd and 4th year you were able to sort of specify and delve more deeply into the areas that you could see yourself working in the future. I really enjoyed the sort of cross between journalism and television and film. There was a masterclass about writing for television with the writer of Line of Duty Jed Mercurio, which was really interesting. That was in my second year here. So while I was here, well while we were actually allowed on campus, I was in the library all the time. It was a really good useful, plenty of computers and books that you can use. Also use the gym a great deal as well. And cafeteria as well for socialising and things like that.
