Yeah, Overall, I really enjoyed my interview experience. People just wanted to get to know me and help me make decisions for my life. For my career, E was applying to both primary care and categorical tracks. When I appreciate it is that so many of my interviewers took time to really help me suss out which program would be better for me knowing that my ankle is palliative care. Remember, Mark Eisenberg, who is huge and primary care, literally drew Venn diagrams, which is great, cause I'm a very visual person. I walked away from that conversation feeling like Okay, either path would be great. Another important piece of my interview experience is being able to meet with, um, faculty. A key interview for me was meeting with Dr Sherri Anne Burnett food who does so many things for our department in for MGH overall. I remember just feeling this sense of calmness when we met. She was helping me think about my career in my personal life. I just was hoping that I would get to interact with her more if I came to MGH and it turns out she's one of my biggest mentors here. It was also really great to be able to pick her mind in that interview about what MGH is doing related to diversity, because a non negotiable for me was being at a place that was truly committed to diversity and through talking with Sherri Ann and learning about things like the Center for Diversity and Inclusion, especially through the reception that it held for applicants. E truly did feel that MGH more than just cared about social justice but actually took action. Another interesting thing that happened during my interview experience with that. A new primary care program director just I've been with announced. This happened after I finished interviewing, and when I was at MGH, I really didn't have a chance to connect her very much. This may be a little nervous because, especially in a primary care program that's so much smaller, work really closely with PD, and they have a huge hand in shaping your residency experience. I'm Jade quickly fix this, and I was able to have a one on one meeting with and I left that conversation feeling like just would have my back no matter what, and that has been 150% true. So if you're applying to the primary care track, your super lucky because you're going to get to work really closely with Jess if she is awesome.
