Residential Quads at Miami University
In this video, I touch on the main residential quads on Miami University's campus. While there aren't many, there are also various residential buildings spread throughout Western campus. Typically, these buildings are newer and nicer. A large portion of Miami students also opt to live in off campus apartments and houses. However, this is not an option for freshmen or sophomores. Freshmen also CANNOT have cars on Campus.
The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
So this is North Quad. It is purely residential. Um, you will also notice that over there, that is Martin. Dining comments in North Quad actually extends up further where there are about three or four more just residential halls as this is East Quad, where we have Carlin's Hall, Dennison, McBride, Dorsey. Then that over there would also be considered East Quad. It is Sims, Obviously, all of these holes a residential except for Farmer School of business. Okay, so this right here is Central Quad. Most of these buildings are housed by stories on campus. This building that's currently under construction is McCracken. It's like the building that Miami is known for. I said, this is South Quad. This is also all residential, and I'm sorry. Stanton connected to Anderson and then Porter, which is obviously under construction. Then this is the back of McCracken from Central. So the on ly residential quad that I did not show you is mine because I honestly have no idea what the name of it is. It is just east of South pod, so I don't I don't know what it is, Vince. People ask, you know, they'll be like, It's not south. There is Ethridge, Emerson Morris and tap it and that's it. It's kind of like a loop, and none of the buildings are the red brick that you've seen everything else. It's pretty different, but there are some residential halls over there that are really spread out. So I just wanted to make sure you guys knew that that Beech Woods, Hillcrest, Havenhurst, Thomsen, Causton and Peabody are all over there.
