Hi y'all if this is your first time seeing my face. I'm a junior at Millersville University and in today's video, I wanted to give you a walkthrough of my first semester schedule. Your schedule will be made based on any classes you might have taken in high school, like Ap or dual enrollment as well as your major. Your first semester will most likely be all gen ed's with one or two major specific courses sprinkled in. So I had one class specific to my major, my very first semester and the rest of mine origin is to complete of the way. So to give you a basic understanding of the classes that we have, we have three main lengths, so that means the time that you will spend in each class. The first one is a 50 minute classes and those run three days a week, monday Wednesday and friday. The second option is an hour and 15 minutes, which runs two days a week. Then the third option is a three hour long lecture, make sure to bring caffeine and those run one day a week. Now we do offer five day a week and four day week as well. Most of our classes are either three days, two days or one day as a freshman coming in, it took some getting used to for the longer classes because my high school had 40 minute classes. So I'm going to walk you guys from South Village to each of my academic buildings in real time and try to show you how long the classes would have taken and how long it would take to go from South Village to all of the academic buildings. So you can see how I managed to not be laid to any of my classes. So this is when I would usually start walking to my nine a.m. Class in Mackenzie Hall. This is room 204 where I had my nine a.m. Class. This is actually my favorite class during my first semester, which was really nice because it's also my very first class that I ever had. I did not know my way around becomes E. So thank goodness I found some upperclassmen who gave me a tour the day before classes. When you come to miller's ville trying to find an upperclassman who is more than happy to walk you through your schedule, It is right now 8:40 and this is usually when I would come to class because I love talking with Dr. beforehand and I would settle down in my seat, this is my seat. Try to arrive to class early, it is now 9 50 so class is over. I might head back to my room and watch some videos because I have an hour before I need to get to my next class. It is now a little bit after 10 35 which was when I would leave to go to Wicker Sam Hall for my 11 a.m. Class, fundamentals of math one. Now the cool thing about this class is it's actually on a different path than all my other classes. Of course, you'll see tomorrow when I go to my other classes, all of them were basically in the same cluster, but now I'm going in a different direction towards the library. I'm right now filming in classroom one oh one because there's a class in one of four right now and I don't want to be that jerk. My class was fundamentals of math one and that was my early childhood specific course. So I'm going to quickly hang around outside so I don't disturb anybody further and I will see when I leave this class at 11:50 Is now after 1150, I've just been hanging outside Wickersham which is behind the camera. So my monday Wednesdays and Fridays were really easy because I was always done before the afternoon, so it really depends on what I wanted to do with the rest of my day. Usually I would wake up around seven 15 because I had an eight a.m. Class, Tuesdays and Thursdays and I am not a morning person as you've seen. So I would just roll out of bed, throw on some clothes and walk over the class and I just would forgo the breakfast. So I did it all right, let's see if I make it to class on time. So my class time was eight a.m. To 9 15. So I'm gonna start heading out because my next class is at 9:25. Most of the time during my first semester I would be sitting at the table hoping and praying that one I don't fall asleep and two that the professor would either finish early on or right on time because Well she kind of always ran over and I had 10 minutes to get from Luke back to south village because my next class was history of ideas which was held in the great room in the middle of South Village. Now if anyone is taking that class pro tip for you, the only professor that teaches it is dr Maxwell and his rule is you are late if you are in the classroom after him so he would always get to class right when it starts. So if my class ever went to like 9:20 you could usually see me running across the parking lot because luke is closer to South Villages and some other buildings. I would be in here for an hour and 15 minutes and it was really nice because at the end of class. I would head back up to my room and I would do some homework, take a nap, watch some Zoey's extraordinary playlist or law and Order and then I would just be sitting around until my next class, which is at 2 35. I've watched a couple of episodes of Law and Order, might have taken a nap in there, but now it's time to head over to the hash building so I can go to my honors english composition class. Let's go, shall we? All right, I'm ready assad, hash Basler and it is a little after 2 20 which is a good timing because my next class honors english composition starts at 2 35. So my sister would always text me saying that she was leaving and had a great school day as I was starting my last class. I will see you in an hour and 15 when I'm done class.
