Today, I'm going to create a video for you guys about some of my favorite places on our I T campus as well as around the campus. Some places that I really like to go just a little bit about me. I am a runner on the cross country team, which means I have run all over the campus as well as all around the campus on all those different roads. So I'm kind of going to talk about some of my favorite places to go on campus as well. Some of my favorite places around campus that I like to run at. There's a lot of little nature trails and things like that. I did my best to get some footage of some of my favorite places on campus. Um, currently in the middle of February, we have about a foot of snow on the ground. Um, so I'm gonna put some, like, older pictures and during, like the fall in the springtime as well as insert some clubs that you'll see from right now where is covered in stuff. There's a couple of popular spaces on campus that I really like to go. I think that's definitely a really nice area of campus. If you ever get the chance to visit our our I T or you can see by the videos, I'm going to show you. There's actually a fire pit, a water fountain, um, and a ton of places to eat there. I think in the spring, especially once it starts getting warmer out, it is so, so busy, I swear, like sometimes it looks like it's like right off with a set of a movie. There is just a nice area to go have some food, maybe do some homework if it's not as busy things like that. Things like that, so that's a really cool spot to go on campus. Another popular spot on campus, Um, that I personally, really like is the library. I really like finding places that are a little bit quieter that I can focus and study. Sometimes it's nice to get out of my bedroom or out of like my apartment sitting at my desk all day, especially with having some classes on Zoom. I'm definitely in my apartment more frequently, so I really like going to the library to study one new thing that alrighty added this semester is called the Chill Zone, so our old ice arena is known as the Frank Ritter Ice Arena. This is used throughout the semester for, like free skate, open skate, um, club, like hockey teams, or like figure skating teams. They actually melted the ice this semester and added a lot of like, really cool tables and chairs, a swells like outdoor type yard games, a ton of like, really cool lights in there. They call it for students to go to and hang out or to do some homework, so I really liked going there. A lot of new places to sit and study again or places to go like, hang out with friends. Some other places that I really like to go on campus that are a little less popular are places like Gracie's Woods or the trails behind the Gene Palestinians ice arena. If you want some time out in nature, if you're going for, like, a walker run or something, there's a lot of trails that run through. It's a little like trails behind, um, Gracie's, which is the dining hall. There's a lot of like, nice little trails trails back there that I really like to run on, or I'll I go for a walk or something there with my friends. There's also a gazebo over there, which is really fun to go and study when again, that's a little nicer out. You can see these video clips are from, um, currently today, which is the middle of February. So there's a lot of snow out there, so you can't quite going all those trails unless you have a lot of Mom snow gear on. It's this little like koi pond outside of, um, George Eastman Hall and Frank Annette Hall, kind of, um, in that area if you're familiar at all with the R I t campus. It's just this little pond with, like a little waterfall and a bench to set at, and it's a really beautiful spot to sit when again, it's nice outside. So these last few places that I'm gonna talk about are places that are not directly on our I. T s campus, but there about a mile or so less than a mile down the road from our I T s campus and their trails that I really enjoy running on or walking on or biking on or whatever you like to dio, there's places where you can drive and park closer to them. If you don't wanna, like, run or walk right from campus the first one is Lehigh Valley Trail, right off of frightened Henrietta Town Line Road. That's where we get on on. It goes for about a mile and a half, and it'll take you, actually to the University of Rochester campus as well as it will take you to the Erie Canal, where there's a trail that runs all along the Erie Canal. The other trail I like to run on or walk on our bike on is the Greenway Trail. Um, again, I'll just put in some pictures, so so beautiful, especially in the fall. It's like a canopy of yellow trees, which is, like my favorite time to run their especially. That's just another little trip on that one.
