I work in our universities box office for the theater department. I'm a double major in both music performance with the emphasis invoice as well as theater performance. This week we're getting ready to put on our first play ever season. It's called Mermaid of the Great pacific garbage patch. This is gonna be the first production we're putting on of our season, which is completely centered around both climate change and sustainability. So it's a nice way that our theater department is trying to take part in some activism about these important topics. So some cool things about the theater department are that anyone can be a part of it, whether that's performing on stage or doing backstage work. Um Our theater department essentially functions as its own theater companies. Stage managers, like I had mentioned, students helped to build the set, like the costumes, run everything as well as obviously doing the performance. Yeah, that's just a few cool things that I appreciate about our theater department.
