I dropped out only after, you know, six months or so, and I just realized, you know, this is not what I wanted to do at that point in my life. At that time as an 18 year old, you know, school was not my focus so dropped out of music production school. You know, I didn't think I needed in education and I was like I just graduated from high school. Then finally I realized, OK, you know, I don't wanna be doing this for the rest of my life. So I started going to community college, study elementary education and, you know, I got my associates degree and with an emphasis in elementary education to a lot of education classes, didn't practice. After getting my associates degree, you know, I realized, you know, being a classroom teacher for little kids. That's what you do want to do, you know? Anyway, after getting that degree, my associates, I started once again working odd jobs. I had a lot of friends and I was living in a pretty nice house and I had a company car and, you know, all that type of stuff. You know, it was just kind of a dead end job, no advancement, unless I wanted a job that I really didn't wanna dio. That's where I started my journey into marketing, which is what I'm really focusing on these days, eh? So it was a great experience, a period of personal development and, you know, just individual growth. You know, after I got my bachelor's degree, I didn't really want to get a job in journalism. Since, you know, I already had kind of an education background, and I lived in Korea for the next 2.5 years. You know, after that experience of living in in Korea, um, you know, I was coming back to the U. S. And I didn't know what my next step was gonna be again. I really enjoyed teaching over there and that whole experience, but I knew it wouldn't be the same if I got a teaching job here in the US so you know, I started my own business. I started marketing firm and I started doing marketing for dentist office and orthodontists and, you know, via a variety of other businesses. I ran that business for about a year and never had, like, really, you know, amazing success. It was hard for me to get traction with my own business, and I determined that the reason for that is that, you know, I just didn't have that much business experience. I didn't know how to recruit new clients or retain them. I started looking around for grad schools, came across Thunderbird, and, you know, a soon as I started researching it, I knew that it was gonna be a perfect school for me right away.
