So 1st 1 would be You don't have to have your life planned out to come to college. You can come and undeclared Nuclear Major is a sophomore and junior. There's no it's not just a four track plan. Everybody has a different plan, and you don't have to come with your plan figured out right away. Um, I came with my major declared, and then I wasn't sure like what I wanted Focus in. I eventually figured out I started monitoring and special education, and so now, like I'm starting to figure out, And then I decided I want to get my master's degree in social work and stay at Bloomberg to do that because I love it here, obviously, but you don't have to have that played throughout. You can figure it out while you're here and there are people on campus to help you with that, there's upperclassmen. There's a whole office in the student service center to help you figure it out. So don't worry about having everything planned out. Um, the second piece of advice I would have is sleep. Don't overstress yourself and like, think like I could do this for, like the next four hours. Go to sleep at 2 a.m. and think I'll be fine at 9 a.m. For glass. No, you do everything, just sleep and hydrate and take care of yourself. It's really important because everybody sharing the same germs, so it's really easy to get sick at college. There's so many different people, just a whole different environment. Don't overstretch yourself and stressed about things you shouldn't be. So then you are getting the right amount of sleep and you're staying healthy and think to yourself. Having good eating habits, eating at the right time. So that's one of the most important things as well. The number three, which is my favorite, is call your mom Freshman. You love him, Mr. To trust me, I'm a sophomore. As I'm making this video, it is a Friday, and I have some work left to do here on campus by I'm going home. You think I want to be admitting that I am? It kind of just keeps that balance where you're not on your own on loan. You may be here with your friends and co workers and other students and professors, faculty staff, your coast, and you feel at home and so loved here. Sometimes it's just not the same as your family. Siblings, aunts, uncles, grandparents, parents there, those people that mean a lot to you. Let them know how you're doing, stopping to visit them when you can go home to see them. It's important for the health of you and that they want to know that you're doing well and I'll hurt doing great things because don't only do you get a great support system it Bloomsburg, but you get a great support system from your family home. So it's important that if you even have to send a letter through the mail old fashioned right, it is good for you and your support sensible you have back home.
