East building is where you're going to find the library; aka home for the rest of your life at hunter :( I'm gonna take you on a little tour of the 6th floor, which is probably the best floor of the library. This is a super important building bc it's going to be your best friend during finals and midterm week

The gym! get those muscles ;)

all you need is your id and your pac to get into the gym! super easy to register for and best of all- f r e e . honestly, this is not as good as a paid gym membership, but it is, once again, f r e e . I don't go to the gym (because i'm very lazy) but most of my friends have told me that it's a great place to get a quick workout in. friday nights, this gym is PACKED and by packed i mean p a c k e d, so best times would be during the mornings and the afternoon. this is located in B2; take the main escalator down to the basement, and voila

Typical classrooms

so these are typical classrooms, usually for more liberal arts classes with less of a student to professor ratio; typically 25:1. I had an english class, and a philosophy class in these classrooms so be prepared to talk a lot! theyre super individualized so the professors pay more attention to you, and this definitely requires more class participation. ( also means you can't fall asleep and get away with it haah , jk )

be familiar with this office because you definitely need to know where it is! both are conveniently located next to each other on 2nd floor of the north building. these offices deal with basically anything related to tuition and money so yeah... super important

The library!

this is the library! get familiar with it because you will be here all the time!!!! just !!! warning!! you!!! there are certain floors that are silent, and others that are for group studying. floors 4,6,and 7 are for group studying ( aka you can talk and just chill there if youre trying to pass the time between classes) . floors b1, b2, 1 2 and 3 are for silent studying (aka please dont talk bc people are trying to learn!!) . WORD OF ADVICE THE B FLOORS ARE SO SILENT YOU CAN LITERALLY HEAR A PIN DROP.

... yum cafeteria food... haha jk its not that bad. Here's just a quick overview of the food options at the hunter cafeteria! Honestly, no one really eats this food unless theyre super hungry and too lazy to go out lol

Tour hunter dorm: lil dorm room for a not so lil girl

This is my dorm room after I brought all my stuff from home. The room is pretty small, ( 10 ft by 12 ft) but enough for me and all of my stuff! I'm currently dorming at the Brookdale campus of hunter college, where there are only single rooms ( which means no roommates!! ). Brookdale is super convenient because as a nursing major, my classes are literally right downstairs. I may or may not have gone to class in pjs once :-)
