Hi. My name is Callaloo Kalevala, and I'm a current MBA student at the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. I grew up in the by two Indian parents, and I moved in Montreal, the 2005 from my studies. It's a city that is bilingual, that speaks English and French has an amazing cultural history behind it, especially being part of Quebec and in Canada. Now, the past 10 years, I've worked in the in the nonprofit space in Montreal, essentially raising money for animal shelters for hospital foundations. I reached a point in my career where I considered changing sectors. When it came time to changing sectors, I thought about just one university to apply to, and that was a John Molson School of Business Sports MBA program. The reason why is because of John Molson School of Business doesn't just have a great reputation locally, and by that I mean in Montreal, Quebec and Canada. It also has an amazing reputation internationally, being a local citizen at all times, I would see sort of news articles about students who were John Molson School of Business participating and inventing competitions internationally, producing groundbreaking research. It just seemed like the kind of university that I wanted to go to. Then since then, there's such amazing things about the university. It's focused on hands on experience, the professors, the people I met. I started my studies in September 2020 and so I was actually one of the first group of people in the world to start their university experience completely online on. I am so glad I did it At the John Wharton School of Business, I found the staff super helpful, super accommodating. I found professors and nothing but understanding, and the students around me were incredible. I have had the fortunate meeting, not just amazing Montreal er's or working in, uh, interesting and diverse fields, but also meeting a whole bunch of people who are working internationally. I don't want to kind of move to Montreal and recognize how an amazing university experience this this. Now the thing about John Molson was, while I haven't yet had a chance to take a course within this building as a Montreal, I would pass. Now we have this amazing metro system in Montreal, three sdm, and we actually have a metro called Concordia, and and you can essentially get in the metro system and access building without even going outside. If you're if you're in the downtown area, you can see the John Wilson building. It's made a class, and it is beautiful and the kind of place that you want to Can you see it? You feel inspired from outside because you know that that kind of architecture is producing brains and minds and leaders and managers, or out that we're really gonna push society to be a better place. This is why I'm glad to have being accepted by John Wharton. School of Business is why I'm glad. A proud current student and one day a very proud of Columbus.
