Um, Mitchell and environmental engineering major from New York City. I chose Hopkins because I I came in here as an environmental science major because I really liked just the general atmosphere of the place on, like how the student body felt how the people felt. Once I got here, I realized that I wanted to go into environmental engineering just because it felt more applied, I guess. Hopkins is very good at applied science and really getting plate actual experience in whatever you're doing. So I decided to go with environmental engineering. What are you involved in Anything like outside of academics? Uh, I mostly involved in just habitat for humanity. I did a prio pre orientation program and beginning of the year on, just stuck with it. They also involved in some sort of the environmental groups on campus on DH. I found that there there are a lot of them and they really get things on. Which I found is refreshing compared to being, I guess just be being on a college campus is a lot easier to find other sustainable with minded people, other like minded people and actually make things happen. So I found that a lot of that happens with these clubs. So what's your favorite and least favorite part of the Hopkins? I'd say my favorite part of a Hawkins interest being surrounded by like minded people and just it could be a lot sometimes with how stem oriented everything is. Just being around other people who think the same way is me, who have similar values, even if even if their views and even though it's very diverse body with very people have very different views, very different. Everybody has the similar mindset of hard work, but at the same time not taking yourself too seriously, I found, and it's just been refreshing to be around that least favorite part. It's really rewarding, but it does take a lot of work to keep up with everything.
