Tisch School and ETW Studio
Welcome to the Tisch School of the Arts! In this video, I talk to my classmates about the studio structure at Tisch, as well as what it's like be in our studio, the Experimental Theatre Wing. Since the Tisch Drama Department is quite big, the people you meet in your studio will serve as a close-knit group of friends who support each other as you complete your primary training.
The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
So I'm an E t w which is my studio at n y u. I'm here with Emily and Anastasia. I think the best part about W is the all around training that we get. It's experimental Theatre wing, but really, just doing all around performer, and I just love it. We're a very close family here at W there only about thirty kids and argue so usually a lot of people get to know another. Okay, so we have a lot of different studios in the drama program at Tisch, like, there's the Adler Studio Strasbourg. There's Meisner, Atlantic playwrights Pnd, which is a production design department, and BTW and new Studio Broadway. You get placed into one of those, and then from there, that's where you find your groups and your family like E. T. W. We're really small, but we're all really close knit and working so much fun with these guys. So we get to take a circus class, which you and I both love. We were both able to do hand stands by the end of it, which I'm not sure that I would ever be able to do. Here's a little snapshot of what a typical studio at W. Looks like. We're in the second floor of the Tisch building, so we have a lot of cool abuse. We have a nice apartment building which people can usually see us doing are really strange dance classes in which is awesome.
