Explaining the campus size and my tradition from high school!
UO has a medium sized student body which at first was a strange transition. Nonetheless, I've come to love and appreciate the massive crowds at games, but the fact that you will still see people you know on your way to class. The physical size of the campus is very walkable. It's easy to walk across the whole campus in under 15 minutes. Many students who live off campus do choose to have bikes though, and Oregon has sufficient bike racks all around campus!
The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
So the University of Oregon has about twenty thousand students, and for me, when I was applying to school, that was kind of the middle range. I was worried it was gonna be too big, but I've actually really come to love it at the games, like at Autzen Stadium. For football, you go in, the student section is massive. As soon as you're on campus, it's mostly freshman walking around cause I mean we live on campus, So I see four five of my friends walking around every single time I'm going to class. So coming from a high school of about two thousand kids, I was kind of nervous but excited at the same time for a change. Everyone in organ is so nice, and I always have random people smile at me when I'm walking to class, which is something that never really experienced in high school, but it's been really cool and different.
