Marcus on Greek Life
Marcus is a member of Alpha Sigma, a popular frat on campus. He talks about why he wanted to join and how it has effected him. Greek life at USF is much more laid back than at University of Florida and Florida State University and isn't quite as involved and rigorous. I apologize for the audio in this video as it was taken at the Starbuck in Juniper-Poplar
The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
Marcus is part of the program with me who's super super involved with things on campus and in Greek life. So I thought I would interview him and let him tell you about his experience with those things. I'm really involved with Zimmerman advertising program. I've been able to do so many things I would have never been able to do if I wasn't before I joined. I remember I was at my apartment playing video games. I was like, Wow, this is the life, you know, and my apartment like video. I rushed and I met the most amazing group of guys I have never met my entire life. They really picked me up last semester when I was struggling a lot in school with my own personal life relationship. If you ask me if I ever regret rushing or running out to see you doing anything, I can say with one hundred percent confidence that I don't make mistakes having a cz much fun as I can. So what advice would you give to anyone who's planning on rushing on any great life going with open minds? They think about the stereotypes. Don't think about what you see on TV. Waseem movies. Everyone wants to see you succeed, so don't stress about it.
