A Columbia Classroom
The classroom in this video is the room that I have my French classes in. It is located in Hamilton Hall. A great deal of classrooms are fairly small like the one in the video, but of course, there are larger lecture halls. My French class has six people in it and my largest class is 22 people. Of course, there are larger lecture classes that are required, but most classes are fairly intimate. The student to teacher ratio at Columbia is 6:1.
The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
So this is the question that I have French and and it's pretty small and because there are only six people in my French class, which is really nice. So a lot of classes at Columbia are smaller, which is great. All the classrooms have computers and projectors, so we can watch movies and stuff. This is in Hamilton home and my classes, six people and the biggest class I think I have here. The semester is about twenty two people, so as you can see, the class sizes are very small. I mean, obviously some of the lectures are upwards of two hundred people, but that's going to be given at any university that you go to. Most of your classrooms are goingto look like this, and some of them or discussion based costumes actually have big tables that everybody just sits around.
