The chamber choir
The Cornell University Chamber Singers present Music in a time of War, a memorial of the 1918 World War I armistice. The concert will feature a performance of Ralph Vaughan Williams’ exquisite Mass in G for double choir, written in response to his experience as a volunteer ambulance driver in France during World War I. The second half of this performance will feature the American Premiere of Polish composer Roman Palester’s The Vistula, a setting of World War I-era poetry by a composer responding to the atrocities of World War II. I use these three items every single day (especially my coffee maker, because I need my caffeine in the mornings!) and would highly recommend that you have them (unless you have A/C in your dorm. Then you're lucky, and probably won't need a fan).

In this video, I go to Klarman Hall (which I confuse with Goldwin Smith a few times oops!), which is where I have my Friday morning lectures. It's a great place to just hang out after classes, especially because it has a cute cafe and is much quieter and more open than other study spaces.
