Thanks, Michael. Okay, so now we're going to go ahead and walk over to Patel Fine Arts Center and I'm going to tell you a little bit about the admission process specifically for getting into the theater department. The admissions process is pretty different than trying to get into a typical college. I had to send in a pre screen, and from that it's kind of an initial audition. When I got the go ahead for that, I was allowed to audition in person in front of some of their faculty. And then after that, you wait and wait and wait for a very long time. And then if you're lucky, you got accepted. Right now we're in Cowen, which is our biggest stage here it Otterbein. This's where so many of our shows are performed. I feel like I can see them now. We live in Alabama, their stories behind every stone. Be the hero of your story, free the champion and the fine, not just the man. Don't depend on other people to put next to be the hero of your story, boy. Then you can rise to be the hero. Wass again. Now the best part of any adventure is people remains What? Something new help you through? I can show you. Say it. Hey, that's me. No, right. No. Oh, no. I must have just been Okay, Y'All let's start off with Towers, The centre of Turbines campus. This's where so many class discussions, lectures and learning happens. Let's go check out a couple classrooms, so this is going to be a pretty classic classroom. Here it otterbein and especially a towers. We have the projector. Here. We have blackboard on two of the sides, and you'LL notice that it's a pretty small classroom. The reason for that is our class sizes are generally pretty small. The teacher student ratio is about twenty to one, and that, for a college is awesome. It is very hard to come by educational settings nowadays that air that specific and individualized as a theater major might. Integrative studies classes are kind of a peek into the real world of education. They're on things such as the Cold War, China economic classes, geographic classes. It's kind of cool to feel like I'm in a really college environment. Even though my personal focus is super artistic, I think that's enough of the view of the okay, we're nearing at the end of our tour. Let's go ahead. We're going to look at this. One more dorm room living in a dorm and Otterbein is pretty much your reality for most of college. The school requires that you live in a dorm until you're a senior and to round out our tour. Let's have a couple of student accounts of school. bass. Speaking of the food, Let's go ahead and check out one of our dining halls were going to walk over now and look at the den. The den is going to be one of our secondary dining halls, where you can go up to a counter, look good menu and get some made to order food ready for you now. Like Chase said, the food really is not the best and not the healthiest for you. But I will say since I've been a freshman, they've made some changes, and they've definitely tried to incorporate more vegan and vegetarian options. Even if it's still not the healthiest food in the world. Let's now go take a look at our library and the outer being, which is going to be our coffee shop on campus. While we're walking over, I'm going to go ahead and address the elephant in the room. I know you all were wondering this, but yes, Wester Ville is the birthplace of Prohibition. Yep, You heard that right up until I think two thousand eleven, maybe two thousand thirteen. There wasn't a single bar in Wester Bill now that's gone ahead and changed a little bit and a wet campus in certain parts of the campus. If only there were some smooth jazz when we looked at the coffee shop. Okay, that's enough of the bean. Let's go look at books. Ah, the court right Memorial Library, your one stop shop for all your printing, computing and library book needs. Of course, it's a pretty good sized library for a college. There's three floors, the bottom floor being children section, the middle floor being mostly computers and the top section being books, magazines, another computer lab. Oh, hey, doesn't the writing center the math center? There's a lot of good stuff in the library. Ah, lot of good resource is I'LL let you take a look around. Ah, lots of prize letter last broken my heart so many times I stopped keeping track. Talk myself or talk must get over. Right now, we're heading into Main Hall, which is the honors hall that freshman get to come into. This is going to be one of the nicer halls, for sure on the campus. It has a pretty good amount of space, especially for a freshman dorm. But we're going to go ahead and check out my friend Logan's room. Logan is a freshman here in Otterbein, and she's going to talk a little bit about what she likes about Otterbein. Buckle up, kiddos were going in. No, wait, She's calling you smooth. Just wait. You're good here. Good halo. So I was wondering, What is your favorite part about Otterbein? My favorite part is that it's such a small campus and environment that you really get to know all of your fellow students and professors. That's awesome. Thank you so much. Thanks, Logan. Let's see if we can find some more
