Frey Hall is one of the most popular Academic Buildings on campus! It has a few large lecture halls on the first floor, where I was able to show you all in this video-but also a bunch of small classrooms on the second and third floor. It is a fairly new building with new facilities (even in the classrooms, where there are outlets connected to every seat).
Here we go into one of our larger first-year dorm building on campus: Kittlesby Hall, or Kitt for short. Although it is commonly 3 students to a room, Jack is a Junior Counselor (JC), so he shares a double with the other basement JC, Carl. JC's like him are entirely there to make sure you have a positive first-year experience, so get to know them and they can help make your transition to life at St Olaf a smooth and fun one!

C4, Newing and Dickinson's dining hall at Binghamton, is described frequently as the worst food in the world. Not all the dining halls are like this - just this one
I ran into my RA on the way out! He, like nearly everyone else here, is incredibly nice and interested in your wellbeing – quite different from the intimidating stereotype of RA's that I had before college. [Pro tip: you want to be friends with the people who can get you in trouble :) ] As we walked outside, I pointed out some of the beautiful architecture on this campus. The fresh snow is really pretty, and in the fall and spring the quad is exquisitely landscaped with trees and flowers. Its relatively quiet at the moment just because I went to breakfast right after the 8:00am class started, so there's not a lot of people about.
This is the MASSIVE lounge space we have on each floor in Grand Hall. The views are amazing from the lounges and they are a perfect place to study, hang out with friends, and watch TV. The TV has an HDMI port so you can plug your laptop in and watch your own shows! Our lounge is a bit more quiet but each floor has its own atmosphere!!

Russell is one of the academic buildings on campus, this was taken right after our shared Sociology class. Makenzie shares her love for people and explains what academics are like at Samford. She is an RA and sophomore here at Samford, and a Human development major from Florida! She loves the community at Samford, but wishes we could have a few more bulldog bucks-which will be offered next year!

This is a tour of the basement and ground floor of my residence hall. Many of the quads, that also have suite style accommodations, look like this (more or less). So this is a good video to base residence halls at Stony Brook University on!
