Here is a tour of one of the four first-year residence halls on Columbia University's campus! I have a single in John Jay. Watch this video to see some dorm room essentials!

The college application process is full of smoke and mirrors, but I can give you come clarity. In this video, I give you an idea of what it takes to get into Harvard by reading through my transcript, GPA, SAT, AP, and SAT II test scores. Good luck to you all! You can find more college videos on my youtube channel, The Queen Next Door (youtube.com/thequeennextdoor).
Hi! I'm Narizza from the Big Island of Hawaii. Come along with me on a tour of Columbia University where I am currently spending my first year!
This is the main quad of MIT's 168 acres campus in Cambridge, MA. The whole campus spans about a mile along the Charles River, directly across from Boston, MA.

This is my freshman dorm, in Holworthy Hall!
The Just About Music Dorm is a fantastic place to live in, if you are not in a forced triple.
Thayer Street is located a few blocks away from Brown's main campus, and offers a TON of restaurants and shops that not only service Brown University students but also students from surrounding colleges.

Harvard's incoming freshmen have the opportunity in participating in up to two of six pre-orientation programs that take place during the last full week of August; these programs vary by interest (community service, arts, international cultures, etc). I participated in Fall Clean Up to make some $$$! You, your captain, and your crew (about 16 people total) spend the entire week cleaning student dorms (we spent most of our time in Cabot House, and upperclassmen house, but the video features Canaday Hall, a freshmen dorm). My crew and I became extremely close and we all had a blast :)
"The Yard" is an open space on campus where there are constantly events going on. Here you can see students getting ready for Fall by painting pumpkins and playing pong.
Lowell House is currently under construction at this time. However, when it does open back up again it is home to upperclassmen dorms and another dining hall. Interesting to note the bell tower at the top rings at the top of every hour letting you know what time it is.
What your seeing right now is a glimpse of the celebration for the Harvard Law School's 200th Anniversary.
Welcome to Crown Hall! Crown is a mid quad residence hall (where I live!) and is an amazing place to live. It's personally my favorite dorm building on campus. Check it out!
All students are said to walk through the Breezeway at least once throughout the day since it's the central area of campus. It also offers an amazing view of campus and the engineering quad!
