The college application process is full of smoke and mirrors, but I can give you come clarity. In this video, I give you an idea of what it takes to get into Harvard by reading through my transcript, GPA, SAT, AP, and SAT II test scores. Good luck to you all! You can find more college videos on my youtube channel, The Queen Next Door (youtube.com/thequeennextdoor).
Hello, my name is Justine Kim [김서윤] and I will be your at guide! I'm from Australia and I hope that I can provide you with a glimpse of just how amazing Cornell is.
Hi! I'm Narizza from the Big Island of Hawaii. Come along with me on a tour of Columbia University where I am currently spending my first year!
This is the main quad of MIT's 168 acres campus in Cambridge, MA. The whole campus spans about a mile along the Charles River, directly across from Boston, MA.
Thayer Street is located a few blocks away from Brown's main campus, and offers a TON of restaurants and shops that not only service Brown University students but also students from surrounding colleges.

This is my freshman dorm, in Holworthy Hall!
The Just About Music Dorm is a fantastic place to live in, if you are not in a forced triple.

Harvard's incoming freshmen have the opportunity in participating in up to two of six pre-orientation programs that take place during the last full week of August; these programs vary by interest (community service, arts, international cultures, etc). I participated in Fall Clean Up to make some $$$! You, your captain, and your crew (about 16 people total) spend the entire week cleaning student dorms (we spent most of our time in Cabot House, and upperclassmen house, but the video features Canaday Hall, a freshmen dorm). My crew and I became extremely close and we all had a blast :)
A textbook Classroom Tour, With Joelle @ Dartmouth: Its not enough to simply show us around an empty lecture hall. If possible we want you to be in a class as its happening - it's all about understanding the student experience in real time. We also love how Joelle tells you everything you would want to know about the class she is currently in: why students like it, what the workload is like, etc.
Amherst cons: 1. fickle weather 2. more rural location 3. academic pressure Amherst pros: 1. open curriculum 2. faculty relationships 3. buffet-style dining 4. spacious dorms/culture houses 5. study abroad resources 6. free music lessons for students on financial aid who have taken a music course
MIT may not be well-known for its greek life, but a large number of students participate in it. That being said, the organizations are not necessarily the center point of social life, but they do provide a good opportunity to meet new people and stay involved on campus.
Take a look at a typical lecture hall at Emory. Most commonly used for freshmen lectures, it is rare that you have a class this big here at Emory.
he new Andrews Commons is the main gathering area for first-year residential life on the Pembroke Campus. The renovation for student commons at Andrews Hall converted the existing 61x100 ft dining hall and a portion of the terrace level residential hall into a student center and 24-hour study center.
